There are tons of women around the globe that will be devastated upon hearing the following words: Adam Scott is off the market.
Following his first-career major championship victory at Augusta this past weekend, Scott made it know on the CBS This Morning program that he is in fact in a relationship.
Confusion as to the golf star's relationship status became fuzzy following a break-up between Scott and former girlfriend, professional tennis star Ana Ivonovic.
"That's all quite embarrassing," Scott said on the CBS program. "No, I am not singe at all. I'm very much in a relationship and very happy at the moment."
Fans of the ABC hit reality show "The Bachelor" were recently led to believe that Scott was single and in fact was set to be the latest male bachelor on the show.
Following a tweet by show creator Robert Mills posing the question of whether or not he should pursue Scott as his next male star, Scott quickly put the rumors to bed with his announcement that he is not a single bachelor.
The pro golfer is currently dating Marie Kojzar, someone he dated for years before beginning his relationship with Ana Ivonovic, according to Stuff.
The shining moment of Scott's PGA Tour career came in last week's Masters Tournament. Late in Sunday's final round, Scott trailed the tournament leaders by three strokes with only eight holes to play. He'd calmly make his way up the leader board and eventually tie for the lead at the end of the final round, setting up a playoff.
On the second sudden death playoff hole, Scott defeated 43-year-old and two-time major champion Angel Cabrera, claiming his first career major championship and becoming the first Australian to ever win the Masters Golf Tournament.
It appears that all is well in the world of Adam Scott. Unfortunately for many hopeful ladies out there, this Australian stud is taken.
