When A.B. Quintanilla publicly defended Kylie Jenner, we speculated that he might be a fan of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
One of his latest photos on social media might have just proven us right as the musician was spotted hanging out with Rob Kardashian earlier this week. But, why?
Quintanilla, the older brother of the late Selena Quintanilla, former bassist of Los Dinos and founder of Kumbia All Starz, shared a photo on Instagram where he was hugging it out with the reality TV star. Both dressed in black, the two looked fresh and adorable!
At first we did not understand how this minor bromance happened, but then A.B.'s simple photo caption explained it all. "Rob Kardashian And I at the Chyna Emoji release party!!!" poseted the music producer, letting his over 125K fans on Instagram know that he was invited to the star-studded event and supporting Rob's future baby mama, Blac Chyna.
Yes, Blac Chyna has followed the footsteps of her cuñada Kim Kardashian and launched her very own emoji app, "Chymoji." For those who are curious, the app is home to tons of emojis inspired by the future Mrs. Kardashian's life. Some are totes cute, others are sensual and some downright vulgar ---depends on your cup of tea.
In March, A.B. came to Kylie's (Rob's baby half-sister) defense, when she was criticized for wearing a Selena shirt. Earlier this year, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star, along with some of her friends and ex-boyfriend Tyga, spent the day at Universal Orlando, where Kylie walked around the amusement park flaunting her tee that read "We Miss You."
Some people, however, were quick to judge the reality TV figure and criticized her for wearing a Queen of Tejano shirt. "I bet she can't even name five Selena songs," read one comment. "She wasn't even alive when Selena was around," read another comment. Despite the heavy criticism, A.B., reached to social media to defend Jenner from all of the haters.
"I found a picture of Kylie Jenner wearing a Selena t-shirt," he said on a live Facebook video, adding that many artists such as Drake and Lady Gaga have also worn Selena shirts. "It's all good! It's all about the memory of Selena," he stated.
"You guys are not seeing the big picture. Kylie has done Selena a huge favor and that huge favor is that she put her on blast with 60 million people... 60 million fans that Kylie has," he said. "That's 60 million people that saw the Selena t-shirt. A lot might not even know who Selena is and will go investigate," he added, emphasizing that it is a positive thing.
