Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was arrested in mid-June for his connection into the shooting death of former semiprofessional football player Odin Lloyd.
Charged with murder along with five gun-related charges shortly after the 27-year-old's body was found in a North Attleborough, Massachusetts park not far from Hernandez's home, the former football star now awaits his fate in a prison cell.

Despite being locked up, Hernandez has reportedly found a pen pal, giving him the chance to express his feelings toward the continuing situation.
Yahoo Sports indicates that the person exchanging written letters with the 23-year-old is someone who spent time in the same Bristol County House of Correction where Hernandez is currently being held.
Yet to speak publicity about his present incarceration, Hernandez sent a lengthy letter to someone who seems to be in support of the troubled former star.

According to ESPN, Hernandez has been writing back and forth with an unnamed person all while proclaiming his innocence.
I know everything happens for a reason and I know 'GOD' has a plan for me and something good will come out of this.
The world just makes things out of false accusations and it will all die down especially when they say NOT Guilty and all the people who turned on me will feel like crap.
I know there is a reason Im going thru this and I will figure it out through my relationship with the Lord.
I fell off especially after making all that money but when its all said and done 'GOD' put me in the situation for a reason!
The former University of Florida standout also reportedly looks forward to proving his doubters wrong while eventually enjoying NFL success once again.
Can't wait to sign this again when I'm playing again an prove all the haters and down talkers wrong!
Pleading not guilty to Odin Lloyd's murder, Hernandez will continue to wait the next legal step while perhaps continuing to write to his new friend.
