Chris Reynolds is a Quadrillionaire, oh wait, not anymore! Reynolds opened up an email from PayPal but when he looked at his statement for June, he knew something wasn't right. The Pennsylvania PR executive's account balance read a whopping $92,233,720,368,547,800.

Yup you read that correctly, $92 Quadrillion dollars and CHANGE. The unbelievable sum would make Reynolds the richest man in the world! Richer than Carlos Slim, the Mexican telecom mogul who is worth a staggering $67 billion.

Well, unfortunately for Reynolds he immediately knew there must be some sort of a mistake. Instead of celebrating his new found wealth, he logged online and check his current PayPal balance in real time and this time it said $0, the correct amount.

"It's a curious thing. I don't know, maybe someone was having fun," Reynolds said. PayPal admitted the error and graciously offered to donate an unspecified amount of money to a cause of Reynolds' choice. "This is obviously an error and we appreciate that Mr Reynolds understood this was the case," PayPal said in a statement. It did not disclose how the mistake had occurred, saying it was against company policy to reveal information on customers' accounts.

So what would Renyolds do with all that money if he was really a quadrillionaire? "I probably would have paid down the national debt," he said.
