As television shows keep raising the bar every year, we’re thinking it must be extremely hard to choose one actor or one show out of all of the amazing nominees. The good thing is, this heavy duty chore is left to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, while we still get to watch as many of them as each day will allow us. The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony will be hosted by funny man Seth Meyers, on Aug. 25 at the NOKIA Theatre in LA. So far, it looks like it will be full of surprises!
With a mix of newly added old-time favorites and some newbies in each category, it’s hard to tell who will take home most of the statuettes. The same questions always arise: Are they awarding new shows to promote them? Are the same ones always winning because they have better publicists? Are they giving out last-chance Emmys? Who knows? This is why I made a list of predictions and potential snubs. Now we can all sit back, enjoy the show and say, “I told you so” every time we feel like it.
