A teenager reportedly ended up injured after he ended up getting hacked in the head after he allegedly bit a man while watching television in a province in the Philippines.
According to a report by local media, the unnamed teen was allegedly trying to watch television at a small public store located at Bgy. Masoli in Bato, Camarines Sur.
The teen allegedly got angry as he was trying to watch alongside others at a sari-sari store. He reportedly got angry after a 55-year-old man made it difficult for him to watch.
This led the teen to retaliate, biting the man in his left arm. The 55-year-old responded by hacking the teenager in the head with a bolo knife. The boy lost consciousness and was rushed to the Sta. Maria Josefa Hospital in Iriga City.
Fortunately, the teen managed to survive the attack. According to PSSG Marinet Pili, the male victim narrated the whole ordeal to his parents before he lost consciousness after the attack.
Police are now looking for the bolo knife that was used by the 55-year-old on the teenager. However, authorities are already readying the charges of physical injury against the elder suspect.
Authorities added, that they were unable to interrogate the attacker because the victim had yet to give his statements to them at that time.
The case is currently being heard and handled by the local community’s governing body, police added. The identities of those involved in the incident have yet to be released as of this writing as well.
It was also not mentioned if police were already able to track down or arrest the 55-year-old man who hacked the teenager.
