Tonight a brand new telenovela premieres on Telemundo. "Tierra De Reyes" tells the story of Arturo (Aaron Díaz), Flavio (Gonzalo García Vivanco) and Samuel Reyes (Christian De La Campa), three brothers whose search for the truth involves conquering the beautiful daughters of wealthy hacienda owner Ignacio Del Junco, the man they suspect of causing their sister’s death. As fate would have it, they become victims of their own trap, falling in love with their newly found enemies: Sofía (Ana Lorena Sánchez), Irina (Kimberly Dos Ramos) and Andrea (Scarlet Gruber). After the brothers’ plot is discovered, war breaks out between the two families, led by Sofía’s husband, Leonardo Montalvo (Fabián Ríos), and his mother-in-law, Cayetana (Sonya Smith). The two join forces with Isadora Montenegro (Cynthia Olavarría), a dangerous woman who runs a drug trafficking ring along with her father. Entrapped by the story? Here are 5 more reasons to watch "Tierra De Reyes" on Telemundo:
1. 3 Hunky Men: Aaron Díaz, Gonzalo García Vivanco and Christian De La Campa topline the cast of this new version of "Las Aguas Mansas." The three actors have sculpted and chiseled bodies that will provide eye candy for telenovela viewers. We are for sure going to see them shirtless and sweating like no tomorrow all for ratings. 2. 3 Beautiful Women: As counterparts to the lead men, there are three beautiful women that will take the Gallardo brothers' hearts away. Ana Lorena Sánchez, Scarlet Gruber and Kimberly Dos Ramos are the name of the actressed that will also leave you breathless. 3. Sonya Smith: Last time we saw the actress it was on "Marido En Alquiler" where she portrayed a manly woman that was honest, trusthyworthy and had a noble heart. On "Tierra De Reyes" it's the complete opposite, she is the main villain, that has no compassion. It will be a nice change for Smith that we are used to seeing as the good one.
4. Third Version Of Classic: As we all know, "Tierra De Reyes" is the third adaptation of the of the Julio Jimenez classic "Las Aguas Mansas." Telemundo produced their own version in 2003 titled "Pasión De Gavilanes" starring Danna Garcia and Mario Cimarro. The telenovela has been one of the best-selling for the network. In 2008, Televisa made its own version with a much older cast titled "Fuego En La Sangre" with Adela Noriega and Eduardo Yañez. In 2010, "Gavilanes" was adapted as a television series for Spain with two seasons produced. 5. Easy Viewing: Sometimes after a long day at work you just need to get home and relax. "Tierra De Reyes" is a linear telenovela that is not complicated and will please viewers. The simple plot of vengeance keeps viewers interested and wanting more. It will be interesting to see how this new version will differentiate from the two previous versions we've seen in the U.S. "Tierra De Reyes" will air weeknights at 9pm/8c on Telemundo!
