The Fourth of July is one of the most celebrated holidays in the United States of America because it commemorates the implementation of the Declaration of Independence, declaring the United States a separate entity from Great Britain.

Signed on July 4th, 1776, Americans everywhere have celebrated July 4th and the Declaration of Independence to honor the past heroes who helped shape the United States into the great nation it is today while honoring the current role models who continue to protect it.

While it is surely important to remember why the Fourth of July is celebrated annually in the United States of America, the holiday is also a time to get together with friends and family. In many cases, folks reunite for large family barbecues while lighting fireworks and playing outdoor games.

4. American Flag - Cocktail

Ingredients:

1/3 Grenadine

1/3 Crème de Cacao

1/3 Blue Curacao

Ingredients:

1 ounce of Blue Curacao liqueur

1 ounce of white rum

3 ounces of pineapple juice

1 ounce of sweetened coconut cream

1. Sangria - Fruit Wine

A perfect drink for a warm day, Sangria is a popular choice for those who simply want to have a nice meal with friends and family while sipping on a tasty beverage. A wine punch that gets its flavor from adding any amount or type of fruit, Sangria is not only delicious, it's also very easy to make.

Ingredients:

1 bottle of red or white wine (to your choosing)

Sparkling water

¼ cup of brandy

¼ cup of orange liqueur

Lime Juice (added to your taste)

Additional Fruit juice (Lemon or orange)

¼ cup of sugar

Sliced Fruit including cherries, apples, oranges, peach, melon, mixed berries, grapes, pineapple, mango, etc.

In order to prepare properly, combine all ingredients sans sparkling water and let sit for 2 hours. Prior to serving, mix in the sparkling water.
