We have compiled a list of celebrity Latinos of Jewish descent and many of them might come as a surprise. Not all of them practice the religion but they all have Jewish ancestry.
In the case of actor Joaquin Phoenix who was born in Puerto Rico, his mother was raised in the Jewish faith but later on abandoned the religion when she joined a cult.
