The latest images of the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S have been released on the internet ahead of its world premiere at the 2012 Paris Motor Show next month.
Frankly, there isn't a whole lot to see from the latest images as the all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S essentially look identical to its rear-wheel-drive counterparts. The Carrera 4 will offer dual exhaust pipes, while the more powerful 4S model boasts quad-tip exhausts to indicate its higher levels of performance.
Sharing the same powerplants as the Carrera and Carrera S, the Carrera 4 is equipped with a 3.4 liter flat-six engine producing 345-hp and 288 lb.-ft. of torque. The uprated Carrera 4S is equipped with a slightly larger 3.8 liter flat-six engine producing 394-hp and 324 lb.-ft. of torque.
In past iterations, all-wheel-drive 911s also featured a unique suspension, a wider rear track, and more sculpted fenders to wrap around the fatter tires. It's difficult to see just how much wider the tires have gone in the latest '991' Carrera 4 and 4S models but we expect more information to surface as the Paris event draws ever closer.
