Telemundo's primetime "super series" called "La Querida Del Centauro" is wrapping up and we are sad to see it go. Starring Ludwika Paleta, Michel Brown and Humberto Zurita, this narco series has had us glued to our seats since it started in January. From the beginning we have seen how Yolanda (Paleta) has fought to be with her daughter and the extremities she has gone through to keep her alive. Most of her decisions have been bad as she has had to side with the Mexican kingpin known as "El Cantauro" (Zurita), but it was all for a greater cause. Throughout the series we have also seen how Yolanda fell in love with the uncorrupted policeman who only wants to capture the druglord and avenge his brother's death. Check out our Top 10 reasons to watch the finale on Telemundo:
1. Yolanda's End: This woman has gone through hell. Her mother was horrible to her and pushed her into a life of darkness. Yolanda was not able to see her daughter grow up after she was incarcerated for being associated with a delinquent. She broke out of prison, to only get locked up again when her evil mother tipped the police. Then she thought she had fallen in love with "El Centauro," but she soon found out that he was not ideal for her. Yolanda deserves a happy ending because she has suffered the most.
2. Duarte's End: He is seeking the capture of "El Centauro" as he was the man that ordered the death of his brother. Duarte's main objective is to see the drug lord behind bars. His wife cheated on him with a co-worker and then she died thanks to "El Centauro." Duarte had to fake his own death to continue working undercover and find "El Centauro's" whereabouts. Last we saw, he was captured by "El Centauro" and it doesn't look good. Let's hope that good is able to overcome evil.
3. "El Centauro" Needs To Pay: In contrast to "El Señor De Los Cielos," where Aurelio Casillas is portrayed as a hero, even though he is clearly a bad guy that kills, writers of "La Querida Del Centauro" don't give the evil drug lord a pass. "El Centauro" is a plain, bad, delinquent and he deserves to be jailed and pay for all his crimes. He has gone through the extent of killing his own wife and sending to kill other people that get in his way of being the cartel leader he wants to be. He has many deaths to his name and doesn't deserve any more than jail time.
4. Tania's End: Tania has been a victim throughout this series. She was not the nicest to Yolanda when they were both in prison, but when she was released, she tried to turn her life around. Unfortunately, she was dragged back in, into this dark world and it doesn't seem she will be able to get out. She lost her eye after a misunderstanding and even befriended Yolanda and protected her daughter. People deserve a second chance and we hope Tania receives hers.
5. Cristina Needs To Be Happy: Yolanda's daughter has also been a victim throughout all of this story. She was mistreated by her grandmother and she only hoped to once live with her mother. Her boyfriend Lucho is waiting for her and he has also been loyal to her throughout, risking his life for her.
6. Bianchini: Duarte's sidekick was left on the penultimate episode bleeding to death. We hope he is able to hold out and live through this.
7. "El Gato's" End: This little guy has been by Duarte's side from the beginning. He is a loyal friend and wants to have a family of his own. Duarte painted a pretty picture for him in a world where he was his father and Yolanda was his mother. We can only hope he has this finale that he deserves.
8. Give Us Hope: We also want to watch the last episode of "La Querida..." because we hope it gives us hope. "El Señor De Los Cielos" has evil winning season after season and we don't want to live in a world where evil prevails. This series had a moral compass and it sided with the good people and we can only hope that's how it ends, with good beating evil.
9. Support Good Telenovelas: Another reason to watch the finale of this narco series is because it was actually good from beginning to end. It was a short series and it got to the point. There was not
