The "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" release date is June 27. With only a few weeks away from the highly anticipated theatrical debut, director Michael Bay has just shared four new and incredible 40-second TV spots. What's more, the new trailers offer a closer look at some of the transformers that are all new for the fourth movie.
Crosshairs, voiced by John DiMaggio, is a dynamic new addition for the Autobots. The green Corvette Stingray transfomer is the amorer and weapons expert of the Autobots. Despite his massive arsenal, Crosshairs is regarded as a master marksman and is never wasteful with his ammo.
Drift is arguably the most interesting new character of all. The Bugatti Veyron transformer is a Decepticon-turned-Autobot and is voiced by Ken Watanabe. Drift is a hand combat fighter and wields a powerful samurai sword.
Hound is the technical specialist and commando for the Autobots. As an old vet, Hound has done it all and seen it all and enters the fray without hesitation. Hound is voiced by the equally veteran actor John Goodman.
Last but not least, transformers fans will also see a man-made transformer known as Stinger. According to rumors, the Pagani Huayra transformer is a spy and sabotage specialist that eventually joins the Decepticons.
