'Super Smash Bros." For WIi U and Nintendo 3DS. Super Smash Bros.

The release date for the highly anticipated "Super Smash Bros." game is approaching faster and faster and pretty soon fans of the franchise will be able to battle it out with their friends on the Wii U and 3DS. While we wait here is a list of everything we know about the game including characters, stages, modes and more!

1. The character roster reveals over 25 playable characters including: Greninja, Charizard, Yoshi, Sheik, Zero Suit Samus, Diddy Kong, Little Mac, Lucario, King Dedede, Zelda, Rosalina and Luma, Marth, Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Pit, Villager, Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Pikmin & Olimar, Luigi, Peach, Toon Link and Sonic.

2. There is no more character transformations as noted above Samus and Zero Suit Samus will be playable characters with their own move list. As well as Sheik and Zelda. Charizard is no longer attached to the Pokemon Trainer and will be a standalone fighter in this game. On that same note the Wii Fit Trainer will be available in male and female form.

3. “Super Smash Bros.” 3DS will get a unique multiplayer mode called Smash Run. Smash Run pits four players against one another in a dungeon full of random enemies. The goal is to collect stat-boosting power-ups as quickly as possible before the time runs out. After the five-minute timer is done players will then face off against each other with their newly acquired stats. No such mode has been revealed for the Wii U version.

4. Both the Wii U and 3DS versions will host different stages from your favorite Nintendo games. The new stages for Wii U include "Animal Crossing" Town and City, "Kid Icarus" Palutena's Temple, "Mega Man" Dr. Wily's Castle, "Metroid" Pyrosphere, "Pikman" Garden of Hope, pilot wings, Pokemon Kalos Pokemon League, "Punch-Out!" boxing ring, "Sonic" Windy Hill, "Super Mario Bros." Mario Galaxy, "The Legend of Zelda" Skyloft and "Wii Fit" Wii Fit Studio.

The new stages for the 3DS version include: "Animal Crossing" Tortimer Island, Balloon Fight, Find Mii, "Fire Emblem" Arena Ferox, "Kid Icarus" Reset Bomb Forest, "Mario Kart 7" Rainbow Road, "Nintendogs" living room, Pokemon's Prism Tower, "Super Mario Bros 3D Land," "The Legend of Zelda" Gerudo Valley plus Spirit Train and "Tomodachi" collection stage.

5. There are a ton of new and useful Assist Trophies in "Super Smash Bros." for Wii U and 3DS from hit-Nintendo titles. Gamers will see Dillon from "Dillon's Rolling Western," Mother Brain and Dark Samus from Metroid, Elec Man from the Mega Man franchise, Chain Chomp from the Super Mario franchise, Midna and Skull Kid from Zelda, "WarioWare's" Ashley and "Animal Crossing's" Isabelle.

6. Over 20 new Pokemon will be available in the pokeballs including Arceus, Eevee, Giratina, Kyurem, Palkia, Snivy and Xerneas.

7. Lastly, the 3DS version will release first sometime this summer while the Wii U version of "Super Smash Bros." will arrive sometime this coming Winter.
