Russian troops deployed on the border of Ukraine were reportedly busy bombing Ukrainian women on Tinder while they were waiting for orders to invade. Women in the city of Kharkiv said on Tuesday that they have been overwhelmed with the barrage of amorous messages from many uniformed admirers poised on the other side where Russian military operations have been pushing invasion attacks towards Ukraine.

According to The Sun, a good number of Putin’s military forces have been reportedly flirting with Ukrainian women on the dating app eventually giving away their strategic offensive positions as Russian forces assembled north of Kharkiv. “I actually live in Kyiv but changed my location settings to Kharkiv after a friend told me there were Russian troops all over Tinder,” 33-year-old Ukrainian video producer Dasha Synelnikova said.

She got match hits from at least five soldiers located just 20 miles away from her who were more than eager to flex their photos in full gear or trying to look sexy with photos of them posing in bed with their pistols and some soldiers flaunting their muscles, wearing their tight stripey undershirts.

The blonde video producer, however, did not find any of her Russian military paramours attractive enough saying she would never consider “sleeping with the enemy”.

Synelnikova said she automatically swipes left to reject her admirers but then, a part of her was curious about them and so she exchanged text messages. One particular text chat she provided was from 31-year-old Andrei. He had sent her a photo of him clutching his Kalashnikov rifle while in full combat gear. She had asked for his location and although Andrei did not give his exact position he did say he was not in Kharkiv but close enough -- around 80km.

Dasha: “Do you have any plans to visit us?”

Andrei: “I would come with pleasure but Russian guys have not been welcome in Ukraine since 2014 (when pro-Russian forces seized Donbas and annexed Crimea)."

As their text messages progressed, Synelnikova learned a little bit more about Andrei as he told her he was born in Belgorod and before 2014, he had been an engineer. He was able to make frequent visits to the city of Kharkiv and loved the place so much he even thought of buying a flat. Andrei spoke of how he wanted to travel around Europe as well as in Asia, particularly in Thailand. However, he said all his travel plans would now be marred by difficulties in getting a visa “ because no one likes Russia right now.”

“It was funny but scary at the same time, knowing that they were so close,” Synelnikova said.

Ukrainian military intelligence reports stated that all Russian units of the 1st and 2nd Army corps have now been ordered to turn off all their mobile phones while they were preparing for an imminent invasion as word of a Tinder onslaught on Ukrainian women leaked.

In a span of just an hour, Synelnikova’s Tinder had gone off like a bomb from numerous admirers on the other side of the ongoing war. “These guys are just the same as anyone else on Tinder — they want love or companionship,” the Ukrainian said. She added that she could only hope that the attack won’t push through as it would be hard to imagine these same amorous soldiers are coming to invade and attack.
