Legendary comic Robin Williams was globally idolized for his hilarious deliveries and his incredible impressions. Unfortunately, the talented actor was found dead in his Tiburon, California, home from an apparent suicide Monday morning. According to reports, the Tiburon Sheriff's Office and the Tiburon Fire Department responded to a 911 distress call at approximately 11:55 a.m. Robin WIlliams was pronounced dead at 12: 02 p.m.
“Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss,” confirmed Robin William's publicist. “The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
Authorities have determined that Robin Williams died from suicide. The cause of death was due to asphyxia. The "Good Will Hunting" actor has a difficult history with alcohol and cocaine abuse in the past, but has been allegedly sober for the past 20 years. His recent self-admission to rehab was due to issues with sobriety, reported sources. Robin Williams was 63-years-old.
