Netflix has revealed that everyone's favorite bad girls are sticking around for a long time. Not only will the original series, "Orange is the New Black," premiere its third season on Friday, June 12, but it's also been renewed for a fourth season. Fans are happy, the cast is happy, everyone is happy! Furthermore, the good news calls for a special celebration with cast member Jackie Cruz, who has just been promoted to regular. Cruz, who portrays the feisty Latina Flaca Gonzales on the show, feels blessed to become a regular on the series. "Dreams do come true! I'm a series regular," she announced to her 206K followers on Instagram.
According to her hashtag overload, she feels "super blessed" on this "happy day." Cruz also empowers her fans to "keep dreaming," "never give up" and that ultimately "hard work pays off." We believe the New York-based actress of Dominican descent; after all, she's been part of the "OITNB" gang since season one. Deadline reports that the Netflix original series is "expected to further delve into her character and Flaca’s backstory in the upcoming third season." Being upped to a regular on the show marks Cruz's first major series role. Congrats Flaca!
