This season of “MasterChef” has already proven to be full of surprises and difficult challenges. If nothing else, the participants have one thing in common: become this year’s best “MasterChef” home cook. This will be no easy challenge given that many renowned chefs have been invited as guest judges. The first is one of the country’s leading Latin contemporary chefs, Aarón Sánchez who will appear in three episodes on June 29, July 6 and July 13, as well as Season 6 winner Claudia Sandoval who joins Aaron in the MasterChef kitchen on June 29.
“We are thrilled to welcome some of the world’s best chefs into the ‘MasterChef’ kitchen as mentors and guest judges this season,” said Chef Gordon Ramsey. “Each of the guest judges brings a unique perspective and skill to the kitchen that we believe will propel America’s best home cooks to the next level.”
Sánchez is among the country’s leading contemporary Latin chefs . He is a multi-talented culinary force, a chef, restaurateur, James Beard Award-winning television personality, philanthropist, spokesperson and author.
During the episode on June 29, you will enjoy one of the most difficult and tense moments you have ever seen on the show as the contestants are judged by Chef Ramsey and Christina Tosi, in addition to guest judges Sandoval and Sanchez.
Each contestant will have 60 minutes to create his/her own unique dish using a number of Sandoval’s favorite ingredients. The winner of the challenge will not only be safe from the next elimination round, but will also help in deciding the fate of three other contestants in the elimination.
Also, find out who is saved and who survives elimination in the all-new “Top 17 Compete” episode of “MasterChef” airing Wednesday, June 29 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET/PT) on FOX.
