In the sports industry you are always a couple seconds away from the next scandal and this one is has the New York Mets franchise caught in the crossfire. It is being reported that New York Mets infielder Jose Reyes has been exposed for not only having a mistress but having a child with her.
According to MediaTakeOut, Jose Reyes has been exposed by his longtime mistress via Twitter. Upcoming singer Christina Sanchez has reportedly revealed herself as the baseball star's mistress and baby mother.
Everything came to blows as Sanchez has grown fed up of their sticky situation. Reyes was married when he met Sanchez and is currently still married to his longtime wife although he allegedly has a child with Sanchez.
The upcoming singer blasted Reyes via Twitter saying that he is a deadbeat father and how he is a horrible man. In a series of posted and deleted tweets, Sanchez holds nothing back as she tears down Reyes' character.
"You’re a worthless piece of sh*t father to our child and she’ll grow up knowing how much of a coward you chose to be.” She continued, “Liyah just asked about you again & I had to explain to her that it’s a cruel world we live in. . . you are a cruel man !!!”
Things got much more real when Sanchez claims that Reyes's dysfunctional marriage is the reason why he has dropped the ball on being a father to their daughter.
"You used to see her all the time and you just expect her to forget? A father is supposed to be a father no matter what!! Your dysfunctional marriage shouldn’t hold you back from being a father!!! I’m done.”
While Reyes has yet to confirm, deny or even respond to the allegations, the scandal alone is enough to hurt his career and impact his marriage.
