Enrique Gratas was a celebrated news anchor and will be deeply missed. After news of his passing many celebrities have taken to social media to share their sympathy. Having worked on the two major Spanish-language networks in the U.S., Gratas was a household name to many Latinos in this country. We remember him for his stern voice and serious demeanor on Telemundo's "Ocurrió Así" that competed directly with Univision's "Primer Impacto." Both shows were sensationalist and the similarities between both programs was evident. It was on that show that Raúl De Molina rose to fame and this is what he said after he learned of Gratas' passing: "He [Gratas] was who taught me how to do television on 'Ocurrió Así.'
