Today actor Clark Gregg, who plays Agent Phil Coulson on ABC's Marvels "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," will be presenting at a "Disney Infinity unveiling event, according to an accidental tweet from the show's official Twitter account spotted by Game Informer.
The tweet appeared on the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." officially page but was quickly deleted probably because it was a day too early. But not before GameInformer securely grabbed a screenshot.
"Today @clarkgregg surprised fans at the Disney Infinity 2.0 launch event announcing new Marvel additions to the game!" read the tweet.
It has been suspected for some time that Marvel content will be making its way to "Disney Infinity 2.0." The first rumors appeared back in early February along with stories of major layoffs, which actually turned out to be correct.
Earlier this month another report corroborated the rumors and Disney teased the addition of Marvel's Avengers to "Disney Infinity," which launched last summer for PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Wii U, Windows PC and Xbox 360.
Marvel had been quiet for some time denying all reports that "Disney Infinity" would actually add Marvel characters but finally gave in and revealed it would be announcing the future of Disney Infinity this month. It is still uncertain if Disney will create a sequel, next-gen port or expansions but we'll find out today.
Those interested in watching the "Disney Infinity 2.0" Edition live stream just tune in at 1 p.m. EST (10 a.m. PST) Wednesday, April 30.
