Charly Valentino has died at the age of 65. Media outlets confirmed the death of the comedian at his home in Mineral de la Reforma, Hidalgo in Mexico. Born as Carlos Aguilar Uriarte, the actor's body was found by agent Fernando Benitez Olay on May 20 around 11:30 p.m. According to the autopsy performed by forensic doctors, the cause of death was acute myocardial bilateral and non-traumatic subarachnoid hematoma infarction. The body had no traces of violence and his home did not have signs of a burglary.

Initial reports suggested that Valentino was murdered in his home. On social media, the rumor that a group of assailants entered the home of Valentino to rob him and suffocated him to death was rampant. The state attorney has debunked such claims and an investigation has already been opened to find out what really happened.

Valentino had an extensive career in movies, television and comedy. His last project was this year on the Televisa series "Como Dice El Dicho" on the episode "Arrieros somos y en el camino andamos." Previous television projects included comedy shows like "Vecinos," variety shows like "Estudio 2" and telenovelas like "Sueños y Caramelos," "DKDA, Sueños De Juventud" and "María José." He also participated in films like "Lola La Trailera," "Más Buenas Que El Pan," "La Torta Caliente," "Dos Nacos Al Rescate," "Tambo," "El Dandy y Sus Mujeres," "Le Pegaron Al Gordo" and many more.

Celebrities have reacted to the news. Patty Alvarez took to Twitter and wrote: "Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of actor and comedian Charly Valentino for his sensible departure, our prayers." Fellow comedian Adrián Uribe also expressed his sympathies on social media saying, "Another comedian is ahead of us on the read... Rest in peace my dear Charly Valentino, great comedian, great friend."
