Bad Bunny new song, short in Tribeca and Met Gala
Latin Times/Rimas

MIAMI - With the countdown to the Met Gala in full swing, where he will serve as one of the hosts, Bad Bunny today released "Adivino," his first song of the year and a collaboration with Myke Towers. Additionally, there is the news that a short film with his music will compete in this year's prestigious Tribeca Film Festival.

The first semester of 2024 seems to be quite iconic for Bad Bunny. Since the beginning of the year, the Puerto Rican artist has been breaking records with his "Most Wanted Tour," which has taken him through major U.S. cities.

Bad Bunny has also launched a new line of shoes as part of his collaboration with Adidas. It goes without saying that the coming weeks will be a busy period for Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.

Bad Bunny and Myke Towers Collaborate Again

Bad Bunny and Myke Towers had previously worked together. In 2019, they joined forces on "Estamos Arriba." Later, in 2021, they collaborated on "No hay amor," which featured Colombian model and former contestant on La Casa de los Famosos 4, Ariadna Gutiérrez.

"Adivino," their latest collaboration, marks Bad Bunny's return to music since last October, when he released his fifth studio album, "Nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana." The song is part of Myke Towers' catalog, with Benito featured as the guest artist. The track is deeply rooted in the urban genre, with a strong inclination toward trap.

Bad Bunny's Cinematic Dream

This year's Tribeca Film Festival is set to take place in New York City from June 5 to 16. The organizers have announced that the short film "En el Bronx Part 2" by New York director Armani Ortiz, featuring music by Bad Bunny, has been accepted into the competition.

The Puerto Rican artist has shared his dream of progressing his Hollywood career, although his efforts have yet to yield significant results, except for his roles in "Bullet Train" with Brad Pitt and "Cassandro" with Gael García Bernal. Nonetheless, having been present at the Oscars and now participating in one of the United States' most prestigious festivals, Bad Bunny's aspirations are very much alive.

Bad Bunny at the Met Gala

Known as "fashion's biggest night out," the Met Gala 2024 is a fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, held annually on the first Monday in May. The event attracts stars, young creatives, and industry paragons.

The Met Gala 2024 will take place on Monday, May 6, and will celebrate the Costume Institute's new exhibition, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion." Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, and Bad Bunny are set to host this year, marking the first time a person born in Puerto Rico will serve in this role. It will also be the official reunion of Lopez and Bunny since their joint performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2020.

Last year, he wore a reinvented suit by Jacquemus. The fans are desperate to know what will be his sartorial choice this year. So far, it has been a very well kept secret.
