Andrea Escalona dropped a bombshell this week when she announced she was leaving "Suelta La Sopa" after being part of the original cast from the beginning. The Mexican co-host shared her screen time with Jorge Bernal, Carolina Sandoval "La Venenosa" and Juan Manuel Cortez for over two years commenting on entertainment gossip. Escalona said she was leaving the Telemundo show to focus on a singing career and already premiered a brand new music video that is really steamy. "Mala Inversión" is the title of her new single and in the official clip Carmen Salinas makes an appearance to add sass to the storyline within the video.
Andrea Escalona is best known to Latino audiences in the U.S. for her work on gossip show like "Suelta La Sopa" on Telemundo and previously "Estrellas Hoy" on the EstrellaTV network. Prior to that she had worked as an actress for the Azteca network in telenovelas like "Cielo Rojo," "Quiéreme Tonto," "Eternamente Tuya," "Machos" and many more. Although her facet as a singer is not well-known, Escalona has participated in the musical show "Que Plantón."
