After rumored fights and allegations, the boys are back together. A.B. Quintanilla, Pee Wee, and the rest of the Kumbia All Starz talked to the cameras of Televisa, and clarified there were no hard feelings between them.
“Yes, we fight, but in the end we are all family, a musical family, we accomplished many great things, we played in many venues, Estadio Azteca, Zócalo, in South America, Center America,” said A.B. Quintanilla. He also commented, “I think there’s a point in everyone’s life when you want to be surrounded by good vibes, positive things, and when they pitched this idea to us, I thought it was time to just hug it all out.”
Pee Wee who is dividing his time between rehearsals with the Kumbia All Starz, and the new reality show “Me Pongo de Pie” mentioned, “I think this reunion will be something that our fans will enjoy a lot, we are going to be singing all of our hits.”
Band member Roque wanted to let the audience know that they are leaving all fights in the past, and that they are more than ready for this next phase as a musical family, “We are breathing positive energy and leaving everything behind, we are focusing on enjoying the present, and looking forward.”
The Kumbia All Starz have only confirmed three concert dates: Guadalajara (June 26), Monterrey (June 27), and Mexico City (June 28). Although they didn’t deny the possibility of adding more dates, they did mention there are no plans to release a reunion album...YET!
