The Green Bay Packers have lost three of their last four games and there’s a nervous feeling setting in.
After the Packers fell at home to Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts, quarterback Aaron Rodgers had some negative thoughts about his team and how they treated that game.
"I mean, that didn't help, I'm sure, but c'mon -- we've got to be mentally tougher than that. That's just unacceptable," Rodgers said referring to the Colts scoring a 99-yard touchdown on the very first play of the game.
"I don't understand it. I mean, this is what we get paid to do, is to bring it every week, and I hope the guys would say I bring it every week. I mean, I love this game and I bring energy. I'm not a rah-rah guy, but I'm a focused, enthusiastic player, and I don't know what the lack of juice was. You kind of felt it over the entire sideline. We didn't have the same kind of enthusiasm and encouragement that we had the previous two weeks. So we've got to look deep in the mirror there, because that's just not acceptable," Rodgers went on to say.
Rodgers finished the game with three touchdown passes and one interception and 297 passing yards, but again he did miss some open m passes that we usually see him connect on. Rodgers’ accuracy has been criticized by many this year, but he is still completing more than 63 percent of his passes.
The NFC North has hit a bit of wall lately with the Minnesota Vikings now losing three in a row. The Packers are a disappointing 4-4 while the Chicago Bears are still lost in the woods at 2-6. The Detroit Lions, 5-2, have now surpassed the Packers. Not a single team in the division even has a two game win streak.
