The city of Dubai is hosting by far and away the best, the biggest, and the most expensive New Year party in the world. Last year, the Dubai New Year Fireworks spectacle unleashed more than 500,000 magnificent shells of dazzling fireworks in just six minutes. To put this in perspective, it is approximately 5 times the size of the New Year's fireworks of Sydney, Australia! This year, Dubai is preparing for something even greater. According to local sources, the city of Dubai is hosting an impressive six-part firework, laser and lightshow that will illuminate the Arabian night sky. In fact, the spectacle will feature a brilliant LED light show that will cover the half-mile high Burj Khalifa tower, the world's tallest building. We believe it is safe to say that the LED light show during the 2015 New Year's Eve celebration in Dubai will be the grandest the world has ever seen.
According to IBTimes India, the world's leading technicians and hundreds of computers will pull off a fireworks, light, and musical spectacle in Dubai that will become the new yardstick in pyrotechnic performances. In light performances alone, the city has planned "strobe-light effects," "volcanic waves," a "shower of stars," and many other never-before-seen elements to make the show one-of-a-kind.
In terms of the light show, the first segment will set the tone with a gold and silver strobe light performance that will illuminate the Burj Khalifa. Next, colorful lights and volcanic waves will reflect off the tower's reflective mirror-like windows. Then, a calm twinkling performance will emulate the brilliant constellations from the night sky. Afterwards, a cyclonic light effect will completely envelope the Burj Khalifa. Finally, quivering and trembling light sequins will serve as the grand finale of the Burj light show.
