The Critics Choice Awards, known for celebrating the finest achievements in film and television, announced its nominees for 2023. Among them are four Latino actors who will seek to take home one of the most coveted prizes in the entertainment industry.

Pedro Pascal, a name synonymous with versatile acting, has earned a nomination for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his captivating performance in HBO Max's "The Last of Us." This post-apocalyptic drama series has not only been a commercial success but also a critical darling, largely due to Pascal's powerful portrayal of a complex, emotionally driven character.

Joining Pascal in the realm of dramatic television is Ramón Rodríguez, nominated for his role in ABC's "Will Trent." Rodríguez's gripping performance in the crime drama series has earned him widespread acclaim, highlighting his ability to bring depth and nuance to challenging roles.

In the comedy sector, Javier "Harvey" Guillén has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in FX's "What We Do in the Shadows." Guillén's comedic timing and unique charm have made him a standout in this genre.

Guillén plays Guillermo, the lovable familiar (the non-vampire helper) of a vampire who was once a warrior in the Ottoman Empire but now is a little clueless on how to deal with life in modern-day Staten Island.

The nominations extend to the limited series category with Camila Morrone, who secured a spot for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television. Her role in "Daisy Jones & the Six" on Prime Video has been a revelation, showcasing her range and depth as an actress in this ensemble drama.

The Argentinian actor plays Camila Dunne, photographer and wife to Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin), co–lead singer and guitarist for the fictitious Six.
